Charlene Gonçalves, a vocal coach and music educator, approached me to rework her brand identity after an earlier logo attempt—created by a well-meaning parent using an image-generation tool—proved unusable for professional purposes. The original design lacked scalability, editability, and the polish needed for growing her music school.
Charlene’s brief was clear: she wanted a bright, graffiti-inspired design that was fun, expressive, and included a recognisable treble clef, in line with her business name and vibrant teaching style. I reimagined the concept into a bold, colourful vector-based logo suitable for both print and digital use.
In addition to the main logo, I created a kids version specifically for her preschool music programme, as well as modular elements that could be applied to t-shirts, merch, and small-scale branding like pocket prints or stickers.
This project was a great example of turning a client’s loose vision into a polished and versatile identity system that’s ready to scale with the business.
