In 2019, I was approached to redesign the logo for Sweet Secrets, a home-industry business that makes edible lace and decorating products for cakes and confections. The owner wanted a simple, elegant logo that matched the delicacy of her lace designs and was easy to reproduce at home.
I created a timeless, ornamental logo with a soft colour palette that aligned with her products and kept printing costs low. Labels were designed to fit standard tower label templates, and I supplied print-ready Word-compatible files so she could easily print them on her home printer without colour mismatch issues.
I also created clean, coordinated label designs for her Pearl Lustre and Sparkle Lustre ranges, and later designed a digital ad for a Black Friday/Cyber Monday campaign in an online baking magazine.
To help her build an online presence, I set up her social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) and designed branded profile images and cover banners to match her new visual identity.
This project was all about delivering beautiful, functional design tailored to the realities of a small home business.
