In 2023, I launched Upscale Printable Art, a digital art brand offering affordable, high-resolution printable wall art for modern interiors. The aim was to create a boutique-style experience for customers wanting stylish, ready-to-print art without the markup of traditional galleries.
I handled everything from the ground up:
– Designed the brand identity, including a clean, modern logo and coordinated social media branding
– Built and customised the Shopify website
– Created the majority of the product mockups
– Produced a large portion of the actual digital artwork, combining illustration, design, and curation
The business was well received but ultimately closed after about a year, as the market became saturated and unsustainable due to extreme undercutting by mass-volume platforms like Temu. Still, it remains one of my favourite branding and product design projects—one where I had full creative control and end-to-end involvement.
